In St Nicholas' churchyard, Lazonby, Cumberland/Cumbria, 7 miles NNE of Eamont Bridge, where his name is on the memorial.

JANUARY 17TH 1899, AGED 50 YEARS.

WHO WAS KILLED WHILE ON ACTIVE SERVICE
AT FABERS-SPRUIT, NEAR DOUGLAS, SOUTH AFRICA,
MAY 30TH 1900, AGED 27 YEARS.
