Thank you both for the info on Trooper Walford.
A quite attractive memorial plaque.
Always like to see any men with a Worcestershire unit or connection.
I assume that he has no known grave.
I'll check in Watt when I get back home later tonight.

I can't help you out with locating a final resting place for Trooper Walford, but having a look around on the old internet I was able to locate another family memorial to this soldier. It is located at St. Bartholomew's Churchyard, Worcestershire.

The Inscription reads -
Thomas Joseph Walford
AT REST AUGUST 31ST 1904.
AGED 59 YEARS.

ALSO OF JAMES.
HIS DEARLY LOVED SON.
KILLED IN ACTION AT YZER SPRUIT KLERKSDORP
FEBRUARY 25TH 1902, AGED 25 YEARS
AND SO HE BRINGETH THEM UNTO THE HAVEN
WHERE THEY WOULD BE

AND OF Sarah Jane
HIS BELOVED WIFE
WHO DIED AT TANWORTH-IN-ARDEN
APRIL 16TH 1930.
AGED 78 YEARS.

Thanks, Trev, great find. Would that be at St Bartholomew's Churchyard, Edgbaston, West Midlands (Warwickshire)? Thomas Joseph Walford died in the King's Norton registration district, which in 1904 included Edgbaston.
