Alonzo Cuthbert & Thomas Francis Davies - rather poignantly listed alongside each other both in life & death.

Below page from the 1901 Census Return for Norton Barracks, Worcester.

Note: Alonzo was actually born in the village of Ruardean about 5 miles south of Ross-on-Wye. This is an area where several borders meet, and Ross is in Herefordshire but Ruardean is in Gloucestershire and if the course of the River Wye lay a little more easterly both would be in Wales.
