In St. Nicholas's Church, Warwickshire.



TROOPER ARCHIBALD H. FORD , of the 14th King's Hussars, died of enteric fever at Groolaagte, August 4, 1900. He was the second son of Ex-P.C. Ford, of Austrey, joined the 14th Hussars, in July, 1899, and went out to the Transvaal with a draft of his regiment in June last.

WO100/117 gives his number as 4134 and shows him as deceased on the 9th of August 1900.

Hello Frank,

The more I look at this the more I think I have perhaps the wrong Ford. However, I wonder if perhaps they could be related?? same surname and same Regiment?

I will dig a bit deeper with this one.
