Elmarie has been a member of this forum since it started in 2010 and has continually shared her information and the resources of the Anglo Boer War Museum in Bloemfontein to help researchers with information, grave pictures and portraits of participants. Recent posts on Deadwood Camp, the Titanic thread and the Boer War in 100 Objects exemplify this well. Going further, much of the information on Boer participation in the War was provided by Elmarie as well as many of the images that appear on the site. 'Courtesy of Elmarie' is a frequent acknowledgement.

I have been fortunate to meet Elmarie on a few occasions in Bloemfontein. This site has a close link with the Anglo Boer War Museum with Elmarie being the chief point of contact.
