Good evening David,
I have given much thought to the subject of forums recently, I have concluded that this is the best of those around today, it is more specialized, its great strength, than most and does "what it says on the tin" rather than degenerating into a mere showcase for a small number of collectors, it is for that reason and a long term interest in both the Transvaal and Anglo Boer Wars, that I am here.
Forums should be there to help people with correct and factual information and advice etc.
I believe that this forum, does indeed, do just that, really rather well and indeed, better than many others that might wish to have a similar claim.

I wondered if, perhaps, I should just go and join those black crossed German gentlemen, with their wretched crooked swastikas, in the gmic?
Only joking!

Anyway, time to bring this thread and the posts in it to a close and get on with the forum!
