By default, when you create or post to an existing thread, you are automatically subscribed to that thread. This means you receive an email notification whenever anyone adds a new post to the thread.
Did you know that you can manually subscribe to a category? This means you would be emailed whenever anything changed in that category.
The categories in the ABW forum are the areas such as Introductions, Medals and Awards, Places etc.
To subscribe to a category, click on Forum from the top menu and then on Index. Click on the category name of the one to,which you want to subscribe. This will open the category and show all the messages in that category. Just above the first message are three options, the third of which is Subscribe. Click on Subscribe to be alerted to activity in this area.
To unsubscribe, click on the Forum from the top menu and then on Index. Open the category to which you are subscribed. On the line above the first post, click on Unsubscribe.
If you unsubscribe or subscribe at the category Level, you will still be notified of changes to messages that you have posted to (unless you have turned off the option when posting to it).
