A quick note to let you know that a new forum category has been created today on the subject of Prisoners of War.

The intention is that this section will focus on the prisoners from both sides.

Thank you for adding this category. I hope that it will attract the interest of members.

Both the British POW's represented in my medal collection were captured in Natal early in the war. I have already posted an account elsewhere on this forum of one of them. www.angloboerwar.com/forum/8-events/1221-war-came-to-natal
