Today marks the 9th birthday of the AngloBoerWar site.

The statistics for the site in the last year make interesting reading:

Unique visitors: 107,721 (87,671 last year). 56% are new visitors.

Countries with the most visitors: 1. UK (40%). 2. SA (20%). 3. Australia (10%). 4. USA (9%). 5. Canada (6%). 6. NZ (2%). This is the same ranking as a year ago.



Visits: 185,257 (144,758 last year)

Page views: 894,817 (683,835 last year)

Average time on site: 4m 58s (4m 53s last year)

The forum continues to grow. There are 2,953 subjects and 15,516 messages (1,759 subjects and 6,673 messages last year).

The number of names in the register has grown to 318,000 but there is still a long way to go before the names of all the soldiers in the war have been captured.

From a site availability perspective, the move to a new host 6 months ago has proved to be a good move.

If there are any areas you would to see covered in the site, please let me know.
