Thanks , well as the principal language is Afrikaans , it must be from either the 1st or 2nd ABW but exactly when they were issued I have no idea. This is the only one I have ever seen .

I taught it was a "Red Cross" card and was looking under your topic Medical and Hospitals
I have 3 of them 2x Yellow backing and 1 x Natural White

Well yes it is a Red Cross card , but it is an identity card issued by them so that if you are killed wounded or taken prisoner by the British , they have a record of who you are and where to send information to.
