Very interesting to see Herr Schiel's name mentioned as a prisoner on St. Helena. Almost wish that I had bid more aggressively on e-bay! One can only wonder at the conversations between himself and the other captured Boer regarding tactics and discipline!
And great to see a bit of Worcestershire amongst the press cuttings, albeit advertising Lea and Perrin's Worcestershire Sauce!
