A 1pp. autograph letter, dated 1.4.00, signed by Buller, to J.B. Wheelwright Esq., from Head Quarters, Natal Field Force. : “Dear Sir, Would you kindly express my best thanks to the brethren in your district for their kind congratulations on the relief of Ladysmith. I remain, Yours truly, Redvers Buller”. Written on one side of a folded leaf.This letter was written about 6 weeks after the Relief of Ladysmith. Fold creases otherwise in very good condition.
