This is a one metre high picture that hangs in the Siege Museum, Ladysmith. It lists the names of men who served in Colonial units during the Boer War.

My pictures do not do it justice.

I see that officers and NCOs have their rank shown; troopers/privates have surnames only. For a task of that magnitude, the compiler(s) must have had access to the medal rolls.
