One cannot say quite the same about Eduard Thony (No's 26 & 36) who also has a Wikipedia page:

Recently received from a popular public auction website the following unused French propaganda postcard.

Intended for the French people to send a message of support to President Paul Kruger in exile in Paris.

Address printed on the reverse of the card to his exile home away from his beloved republic and Vrou Kruger.

I would imagine that there was a massive print run of these. I wonder how many Oom Paul actually received.

Steve - you imagined correctly regarding the numbers produced but I can't answer how many Kruger received.

From the Cork Weekly Examiner of 24 November 1900:

This short intoduction to Bruno de Perthuis's catalogue raisonné of Denizard's 'Burin Satirique' postcards gives an idea of how highly his satirical drawings were regarded at the time.

French caricaturist Charles Denizard, who used to sign his works 'Orens', was born in 1879 in the town of Pontru (in the French department of Aisne). He studied painting and engraving at l'École des Beaux-Arts, Paris, and his first satirical cartoons are dated March 1902. He saw the new and very dynamic field of illustrated postcards as a medium free of the constraints of satirical journals when it came to political drawings. When he founded the 'Burin Satirique' [in 1903], he was already regarded by political engraving enthusiasts as the most talented cartoonist in this medium. From 1903 to 1907, four years’ worth of news published in the 'Burin Satirique' widened his reputation even further by drawing attention from the most distinguished engraving experts such as John Grand-Carteret. Very soon, Orens became the undisputed leader in the field of caricature postcards, whose history is now indistinguishable from his own. Through his and his followers’ work, this medium saw an expansion unmatched by any other country (Bruno de Perthuis, 2011).
