I always enjoy a mooch around our local charity shops. To my surprise, this morning I found this print hanging on the wall. Languishing with, shall we say an ecelectic array of art work. Priced at £10. The frame was worth a tenner. So, I am now the happy owner of a print taken from the original drawing by the acclaimed artist Simon Harmon Vedder.
Lord Robert's visiting the wounded in South Africa.
Presented with No. 902 of Cassell's Saturday Journal.
I did ask if they had anymore hidden gems in the back of the shop, alas, they kindly informed me this was the only one. My wife asked me why I was smiling so much? I explained it was £10 pound well spent and a rare find in a charity shop. To which she responded, you have no more room on the walls for another framed print.........she did have a point.

Dave.
You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough.
Best regards,
Dave
