These are great. Thank you for taking the time to post these.

I contacted The Times recently about using some of their data on my Wepener book and they confirmed that information in papers from this time is now out of copyright.

Vallentin was a superb soldier and would, I am sure, have had a very fine and distinguished career ahead, had he not been killed.
