Hello all

I have just joined you as I have an interest in military campaigns-mainly ww1- but several soldiers I am researching also served in the Boer War so hope I can learn more about any soldiers serving in the Boer War..

The soldier I am researching at present is EDWARD CHARLES BACON born 1884 10th Hussars in the Boer War.I have learnt from this web site that in "notes" it says QSA (4) QSA medal rolls.I will explore the site more tomorrow trying to find what this means and any other details I can find.
I live in Worthing W Sussex and we have a large Boer War Memorial and would be willing to take any photos of people on the memorial that anybody needs.

4549 E.C.Bacon is listed in WO100/116 with entitlement to the QSA with clasps Cape Colony,Transvaal and date clasps South Africa 1901 & 1902
Unable to find any service records though.
