Hallo Everybody!!

I am the United Nations, living in one body, born in South Africa. The Anglo Boer War had a tremendous effect on my family on my dad (Potigeter) and mom (du Toit) side and some of those effects is still clear today.

I grew up without knowing much about my family. At school HISTORY was my favorite subject and about 5 years ago I got hooked on Family Research. We are all somehow linked, been born in South Africa.

But wanting to know the people whose faces and names I capture on paper - I need to understand the times they lived in. The why's and the multitude of answers on the only "why?"

I am in a learning-process : a-for-ever-student-of-yesterday! That is why I am here.
