TOPIC:

Iam 4th generation combat veteran in my family, USMC VIETNAM. My Father Warren served USN WW11. My Grandfather Peter served in the Boer War. My two Great Grandfathers served in the Civil War, one for the north and one for the south.
Iam looking for any medals that he may have been awarded post and according to his certificate of discharge he earned a S.A.W. Medal if anyone can tell me what that was and if it is possible to get one.
