Am part of an historical society in Terryglass Tipperary Ireland and we recently completed a major project on people from the area who took part in the Great War one thing a lot had in common is that they had seen service in Boer war and still to this day areas are called after Generals or areas Spion Cop for example in our parish is there a record of Irish who took part anywhere available online or elsewhere
