Hi,

I have just discovered that I am related to Valentine Charles Egerton and would love to know more about his Army career. I know that he served in the Boer War with the City Of London Imperial Volunteers, Rank: Private, Number: 29 I believe he resigned his commision in 1908 having reached the rank of Lieutenant Colonel but obviously must have then fought again in WWI. Any information would be gratefully received. I am trying to track down a photo to as would love to display this proud part of my family tree.
