Interest began while posted to Australia. Lots of local interest and material there. Acquired an HMS Powerful Siege award watch while there issued to F Buxton, AB, one of the men who pulled the guns to Ladysmith. Lots of Buxtons on the name list, but not him. Photos attached. Don't know how the watch got to Australia. Have visited various sites in SA and have pictures and books related to the subject.
