hello all,
thank you for accepting me onto your ABW website.
My Paternal Grandfather was a stoker on HMS Terrible and took part in the Zululand Expeditionary Force according to teh good book and then went onto the Boxer Rebellion in China. So I have both of his medals plus his "Terrible" tally ribbon and Portsmouth fob badge with the S/A and China stampings on the reverse. With these i have his Sailors Palm, needle. home made leather dice cup and a number of other home made artifacts such as minuture dominoes he had made at some time. all memories of a grandfather who, whilst nearly 90 when he died, died so many years ago.
I also have the QSA for a one JJ O'Flaherty alos a stoker on Terrible but up to now not been anything about the man in either this country or Ireland where he was borne accept that he also appears in teh good book.

Hi and Welcome......

I have found a 165.222 Stoker J. J. O'Flaherty as a No-Bar medal in Terrible.....

There are Two Kelly's in Terpsichore, One in Rattler, One in Niad, and One (286.882 Stoker P Kelly) in Gibraltar.....

What do you mean "The Good Book"...... I am going by the medal roll done by Fevyer and Wilson.....

Mike
