I had the photo back in 2006 when we were renovating my grandfathers business & my father and others seen the picture but at the time was probably put to a box of records and I am sure I. Will find it sometime,but if the picture was in another family from the area of there family I could get a copy ,if I seen the picture I would recognise it,drives me mad not been able to find it.my great uncle was from Tullow..and a lot of lads probably. Joined the Wicklow artillery ..which I can only presume was the militia for that area?

I think joe maher is your brother ?and I have also being looking for records for joe on my different websites ? Joe actually remembers me showing him and others the boer war picture back in 2006 .

My great uncles medals and a few old coins ,not sure what coins are date on one 1893 ,?just a question on the roll of individuals entitled to the South Africa medal and clasps..under a lot of the men there is a mark beside rhodosin..I just wondering should they all have received clasps for there as well.?
