hi im paul ward ex RE trying to find info on my great uncle ,the above soldier, he was bn 1880 in rothwell northants. he died in burghersdorp in 1903

i have his medal roll but thats it

He served in the 46th Field Co, RE.

He earned the QSA with clasp CC and also the clasps SA01 and SA02.

He died of disease on 6 Jun 1903.

As he died, there won't be any papers for him unfortunately.

A possible line of research would be to look into the exploits of the 46th Co?
