That is the only place that I can suggest......

Try contacting the moderator and see what has happened, a number of sites have gone through changes and updates which makes a person re-enlist to a degree.....

Forums are certainly not the "be all and end all" they are only as good as their contributors, for the RM and Gallipoli in particular I'd start off with a trip to both the RM museum Southsea and the IWM Lambeth to talk to their curators, ask your questions and look at their exhibitions.
