Hello,
just want to say Hi to everyone on my joining your site. My main interest is the Great War in which both my great grandfathers fought, one being killed.
Just recently i have been in touch with distant family who have relayed the fact that my great grandfather who survived the Great War also so service in the Boer War. So now i am on a quest to find out about his service in South Africa. This isn't going to be easy i done think as he had a very common name, William Hill !
