I wish to research the service of my Great Grandfather Charles Arthur Parkes #8010
Coldstream Guard 2nd Battalion

His picture is my Avatar.

Awarded South African War Medal 1899-1900 with clasps for Belmont, Modder River and Dreifontein

He served in the Coldstreams from 18th Feb 1890 - 24th May 1902 where he was discharged with TB

He went on to York City Police/ East Riding Constabulary 1902 - 1906 where then passed away from TB.
