My grandfather lost the use of his right arm. I was told he lost it in the war. No-one told me which war. I have since found out he joined the Cheshire Regiment no 6301 Court in November 1901, Having enlisted in the Northamptonshire Regiment(6301 Court) a few months earlier. Can anyone tell me if the Cheshires sent more men to South Arica after that date. I can find no trace of him in WW2
