Just popped in to say hello from South Africa. I live in Lydenburg but will be moving to Dullstroom within the next month. I have a vast interest in war history and am one of "those" mad lunatics who spend the little free time I have snooping around with a metal detector. I have explored around Lydenburg and found some stuff dating from the Anglo Boer war and can't wait to start exploring Dullstroom.

I hope to learn a lot from you guys and will try to actively partake in the discussions her.

Hi Olivier, browsing through the ABW site I came across your post below. My parents in law live and work in Dullstroom so we visit them from time to time. In fact I will be visiting this weekend (24-24 Oct15). As a Boer war enthusiast I was wondering whether you have come across any intresting ABW sites/artifacts in the immediate Dullstroom area, other than the blockhouse on the hill.
