I am a smallholder and animal breeder in Warwickshire. I joined this forum as researching my family tree I discovered a relative was buried at sea on the outward bound trip a few days from Liverpool. I now wish to research conditions that lead to his death, and possibly the reason for his enlistment. A young man with 3 young children. I would also like to discover more about the pay and conditions of the men and animal welfare cosiderations during transport.
