I am interested in finding family of the soldiers who were in the Elswic battery which was stationed on our farm during the anglo Boer war and I
am writing a book on the history of our farm . How I know they were their is because they wrote there name on a rock.

Sorry do not have any information about any of the families.....

I found the soldiers name he was gunner JOHN MICHIE and he was a gunner

There is a famous British actor with the same name ...this is getting interesting.

Sorry no the medal is not for sale..... It is the only one to that unit that I have..... If I had a duplicate I would.....
