I am feeling my way into one aspect of this conflict. While looking into memorials to The King's Liverpool Regiment I found one mentioned [by the Genealogical Society of South Africa] online, situated at Belfast, now also known as eMakhazeni. It names 23 members of the 1st Battalion and a few others. As I have found in looking at other memorials, there seem to be errors when I compare the list with the extracts on this site. The majority are listed here as dying in the action at Geluk on 23 August 1900, but some names and initials differ and one I cannot relate to your list.
It would help to have comments from those better-versed in this conflict.
I look forward to learning from experts.
