Can anyone tell me if this is the uniform of a member of the Prince of Wales Light Horse between Jan- July 1901.

The other possibility it is the uniform of a Reserve in Leicestershire Yeomanry about early 1900's

picture is B S Tomlin who served in light Horse in South Africa.

Far more likely to be the former that the latter, I really cannot imagine any commanders in the county yeomanry cavalry or the subsequent home service imperial yeomanry force letting their rank and file look like that!
