Some of you will know me from other mailing lists and forums. I am a medal collector, photograph collector, occasional writer and historian. Hitherto, I have not had a great deal of interest in the Boer War, although having a special interest in the services of the Duke of Cornwall's Light Infantry, I do naturally have a certain amount of knowledge, and a few relevant items in my collections. If I can help anyone with DCLI information, I will be delighted to do so, although my main areas of knowledge and expertise are half a century, and several thousand miles removed, from South Africa at the end of Victoria's reign.
