Hello all
I recall seeing a recent log on this forum referring to a Mnr Braam Wessels owner of the farm near Boshoff where Gen Maruiel de Villebois was killed .
Has anyone got Mr Wessel's contact tel no?
On a recent visit to the city of Nantes in Brittany, France I came upon a large bronze memorial statue honouring Gen de Villebois he being a son of that city.
The bronze plaque mistakenly referred to Boshoff being in the Transvaal....
Perhaps the Nantes historians erecting the monument also considered the ABW as being the Transvaal war?
