Uniform insignia 9 years 1 week ago #44017

Hi - I'm new to the site and am trying to trace one of my wife's ancestors who was Private Alfred Frederick Burton, no 31896 with the 36th West Kent Imperial Yeomanry between 21st March 1901 and the 25th February 1902. He had the QSA medal with 4 bars. We are not sure who (or even if) he is in the 3 attached photos or what the insignia/uniforms are. ANY help would be much appreciated. He went on to fight in the 1st WW as private 36544 in the Queen's Regiment.
Many thanks. Barry Robson

Thanks for the message but as I said, I'm very new to this and can only find your acknowledgement of my 3 photos....? I'm probably being very dim!!!

Kind regards

The photographs appear to show member of the Royal Artillery on foreign service in the first quarter of the 20th century.
