Hello all I'm new to the forum my Great Grandfather was William Thomas Fox Trooper with the 2nd Battalion 1211. I'm looking for any direction on how to find out more about his role in this conflict.

Good morning, when you say "with the 2nd Battalion 1211" what do you actually mean, I assume you are perhaps talking about the 2nd Regiment Imperial Light Horse?

Good Morning.....

There is only one WILLIAM THOMAS FOX in FMP but he died of wounds......

Wounded Severely on 19 September 1901 at Lang Berg (Official casualty roll location: Laangberg),Died on 05 July 1902 at Not stated.....
