My son gave me a QSA disc and a partial suspension with clasps CC and SA 1902. They came from a box of scrap silver he purchased in northern Michigan. I need to verify if these go,together. Can someone assist? Simmers SN is 785. There were some 20 more discs of campaign medals in the box. No more QSAs.

After downloading WO 100/230 using the instructions on ABW site I confirmed Clasps CC and SA 1902 as being correct. Now, using a reproduction claw and post I will be able to rebuild the medal. plus I have a screen shot of page 188 to show confirmation.
It was my lucky day to find this site and sign up.
When complete I will try to post a pic to show the results.

George Simmers, a twenty four year old GPO sorting clerk, from Aberdeen, joined the Army, the Post Office Corps in Glasgow on the 10th of December 1901 and served in South Africa from the 3rd of February 1902 until the 18th of November that same year.

Big Texas thank you for your info. That adds to the story. Right now I am keeping one eye on the weather radar as we have a long train of storms bearing down on us. We are dry but the surrounding counties are all being classified as Disaster Areas. Later I suspect I will spend the day on this site and downloading WO Files.
