Some of you may know me from The British Medal Forum, been a medal collector for over 30yrs - I used to have a full collection of QSA Medals example of every clasp & a Raised Date example but they were all sold some years ago to help fund my wife's business.

I have decided to try and build myself a small collection of QSA's again probably not to the level I had before but some nice examples, I hope to get medals which have service papers as I enjoy researching the different men and their units which where I hope the forum will be able to help, back in the days when I had the big collection the research was not really available

Welcome to the forum..... I can imagine having to sell the collection and start over again...... Just would not like to do it ......

apparently it was in the small print when I was allowed to use the house keeping to buy medal all those years ago, I didn't recall it myself but my other half was quick to refer to it when she need the cash for her business.

I still have visitors rights to the raised date QSA as I sold it to a friend who still retains it the other I've seen come and go on various auctions & dealers lists. I shall enjoy the search and the research as I try to build a new collection.
