Nothing the matter with a bit of Buying Frenzy! When you have done research, you might care to share it with us on the Forum. A very good book on the Line Regiments is Stirling's "Our Regiments in South Africa". Easily available in soft cover form. It gives a three page digest of the activities of the DofW's from 12/1899.

You might do a post under the heading "Medals And Awards". Then, hit the "Attachments" button and proceed from there. I don't know what system you use (mine is a SONY with an appropriate programme); however there is a practice area on this site to assist you. Be mindful of the maximum size applicable for posting illustrations.

IL.
