Dear All,

just a quick introduction and just to say how happy I am that I am now aware of this Forum.

I am very interested in the Boer Wars, especially the second. My interest was piqued when I was looking into the life of Lord Roberts. At that time I realized that this great soldier had fallen from the consciousness of the British nation; also had the Boer War(s).

As an British Army veteran I have always respected my forebears and their achievements. I look forward to furthering my knowledge both on the military and related social side of this topic with like minded individuals.
