Hi,

I believe my GGF bottom left was the named man above, I think he is wearing the Kimberley Star, can anyone identify the other medal?

I think you will find that he is wearing WWI medals - I spot the 1914/14 Star on the left with the British War Medal next to it. Hidden by his coat is most likely the Victory Medal to make up the trio known popularly (in those days) as Pip, Squeak and Wilfred

I assumed they weren't WW1 medals as he was too old to fight, although his 3 sons also in the picture did fight and I guess he could be wearing their collection?

It certainly appears to be a 1914-15 Star and a British War Medal, I dare say the AVM is present under his jacket, as Rory points out.
