I don't doubt the title gives away most of my ambitions on this forum.

Last summer in NY I was looking for inspiration for a story, but wanted it set during an era nobody else writes about. Long story short, I found out the Second Boer War and became highly interested in the Americans that fought for the Boer cause.

My plan is to created a historical fiction based around the American Scouts as led by Captain John A. Hassell. It would include historical figures like; John Shea, The Arizona Kid, Alan Hiley, Starfield, William Young, and Dynamite Dick with his sidekick Germany.

I'm still in the process of researching for the novel and am posting a different thread in the Research section of the forum for gathering information on the American Scouts. So if you see me floating around the forums you'll know why.
