Hi, so sorry I have posted on the site without introduction. Very remiss of me so please accept my apologies. I have been interested in military history for many years and have collected all sorts of memorabilia. However, my interest in the Anglo Boer War stems from an early age due, to my Dad bringing home from work way back in the 70s the complete set of Louis Creswicke's South Africa and the Transvaal War which he bought from a mate as he knew I was interested in military history. From that day on, I was hooked on the campaign and having found this excellent site I feel I can carry on enjoying and gleaning knowledge from the ABW forum and community.....regards Dave F
