Good morning and thank you for letting me join the forum.
My main interest is WW1 and I collect medals to the 1/4th Kings Own Royal Lancaster Regt, which my grandfather served with from 1912 to 1920. My interest has expanded to QSA medals to 1st Volunteer Btn R Lanc R men who served with the Active Service Companies, especially those from the Furness area Ulverston, Barrow, Dalton etc.

Welcome, Ian. If it might be any help, I've begun to go through the Lancaster newspapers of the time, transcribing everything that was ABW-related. Parts of Furness got some coverage, so if there are any names you'd like me to look out for, please let me know.
