Hello all!
I'm currently writing up my family's military history and i've now reached the Boer war. so far, only 2 soldiers have appeared as having served at this time but i'm still in the early stages of this period.

9516 Spr J T Vesty RE - Was a telephonist with the telegraph battalion. No research done on this unit yet.
6226 Pte E Roberts DCLI - was Mounted Infantry with either Sitwell's MI or 22nd MI. Captured at Paardekop 16th June 1901 (under 6226 R Roberts) and released shortly afterwards. Also possibly Mentions in Kitcheners' Dispatches (E Roberts with Col Henry's Column). Research into this not yet near complete.

I'm still learning about the makeup of the British forces and the events of the second Boer War.
