Hello I have searched your site to locate record of my great grandfathers service I the 2nd boer war.
I know that he had 12 years service from 1883 with the highland light infantry in India his daughter did not know but always stated he served in the Boer war.
I can only find a TA Welford serving with te 5th Battalion Northumberland Fusliers Mediteranean Medal awarded.
Any advice appreciated.
