Am searching for service records of a relative Private F Green of the first Fusiliers who died in Mauritius in 1905, and is listed along with 9 colleagues and 1 child, on a Memorial in the Cemetery near Curepipe in Mauritius. Those also listed and who died 1904/1904 , are. RB Jackson, J Bell, FL Walker,J Westerman, H Wigglesworth, F Johnson, H Wilson and ( ) Catchpole. also listed is G Futers , child. There was an Enteric Fever epidemic at the time. I believe that some of the first Battalion were billeted in Mauritius after the Boer War, but cannot find any service number for Frederick. Any hints would be appreciated.
