Hi Anthony
Now you have to find his DTD and LvW Certificate.
He was wounded at Wolvekuil near Houtkraal Station on 17 Feb 1901
A Sgt Vine (Canadian Scouts) was wounded in the same incident

Hopefully the DTD will come up. It would be great to Unite the medals
Interestingly, this medal was found at a scrap metal dealer ready to be melted for its silver value. Was luckily salvaged by someone from whom I purchased

It is disappointing to hear that medals are sometimes valued more for their silver than their inherent and much greater worth.
